They have been acting completely normal, eating and drinking okay and pecking around. I will have to examine inside their mouth in the morning.
Well you can probably rule out fowl pox. Seems like sever pecking injuries.

8 pullets total? That's 2 pullets per rooster. They need 8 more each. The big rooster should not be with the serama pullets at all. So big boy has 6 full size pullets. The 3 serama roosters have 2 serama pullets between them! You have some thinking to do and decisions to make.I have 8 pullet chicks, 2 serama and 6 standard that are growing out. I will see if I can separate them in different runs and see how they do.
The ratio between roosters to hens should be 8-12 each. There is a big lack of hens though and that should be addressed by adding more hens or eliminating some roosters.8 pullets total? Have you added new roosts? I ended up having to add an additional roost as my chickens got bigger because they were really picking at each other at night before going to bed they were fighting over the spots they wanted on the roosts. They fit all together on a 4 foot roost when they were young, but as they got bigger I had to go by the 2 foot a bird rule, now they are happy at bedtime. They have been acting completely normal, eating and drinking okay and pecking around. My big rooster has 9 and soon to be 15 standard hens. I have 3 serama hens and 3 serama roosters and I'm adding 3 more serama pullets when they are big enough. I know many people that keep multiple roosters together most of them being seramas. I have plenty of space to section off for the seramas. I'm going to watch them closely over the next couple days and if it's fighting between the little roosters I will separate them and or get more serama hens.8 pullets total? That's a great idea. We are still renovating the coop and are adding 18 more feet of roosting bars.Have you added new roosts? I haven't noticed any fighting at all. Occassionally I see the little roosters face off at each other for a minute, but never actively fight.Your roosters are definitely fighting! I've seen it twice! I had a Buff Orpington Rooster fight against a Cuckoo Maran Rooster I had. My poor buff orpington got beaten and his face was torn up! A year later, the same thing happened. He got beaten by another rooster I had. But he wasn't beaten up too bad though. I do have a question though. Have you seen one of the roosters walk away alone somewhere after he has been fighting? If so, that's the rooster that lost the battle and the head rooster will take over the flock.
Yes, I was going on needing an Average of 10 hens per rooster. The ratio between roosters to hens should be 8-12 each. There is a big lack of hens though and that should be addressed by adding more hens or eliminating some roosters.
Ah! My bad, I missed the part where you have more than 8 pullets. Whew! Ok. I do think you'll want a few more serama hens. And I think you're doing well making adjustments. My big rooster has 9 and soon to be 15 standard hens.
