Hi all,
I have a three year old IB/Cameo male who is relentlessly chasing his daughters from last year. He only chases the cameos, not the IB females. I have 5 acres and cage them at night. In the cage they are all fine, but when I let them all out in the morning, the male is chasing two of his cameo daughters and one adult BS Cameo (age? maybe over 5yrs). In the past couple of weeks I just kept him in the cage because he chases them so much I don't want the girls leaving.
Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior? He is not trying to mate with them, just chase and peck. Luckily, I have a bamboo stick I can beat him with until he goes back inside the cage. I love him dearly, but I think he has too much juice left in him, and the girls are not interested.
