but they have no protection. Luna almost died twice trying to protect my hens.

Had chickens for years without a rooster and they thrived. All I had to do was build them a safe pen.I free range mine too but only when I'm home.I trained my dogs to chase predators off so mine are safe

well he does not attack my mom. she feeds him and he trusts her. I am still trying to gain his trust.
