Here's a pure Fav chick for comparison. You'll know for sure when the chick feathers out. If it's a pure Fav you'll know by week 1-2 whether or not it's a boy or girl.

WIGGLES AND PEEPS! WIGGLES AND PEEPS!!!!! So i had to refill my water... things in the bator cuz humidity had dropped to 55%. Well i was dummy and spilled water on the paper towels I had under (that won't happen again!) the eggs. So I moved them all quickly to the part that still was grate (without turning them in case they were in the right position). Well I heard PEEPING! and so I told my mom, in the middle of a math lesson with my little brother, "STOP! Come NOW!" and I handed my bro two eggs I couldn't fit to the side and they wiggled in his hands! One wiggled with me too as I was handing it to him, but his face was complete amazement. Gaaahhhh I am SO excited! I'm supposed to stay at my cousins house today to watch her and their puppy... But no way am I staying away today! That puppy will just have to come home with me!

I have one BR out and 3 eggs have cracks on them but they havent pipped out a hole yet

update i have 4 BR outs but i think one of them will die cause he/she has a huge butt and thats never a good sign

Well here is the gang. Last count 8 and a couple more pipped/zipped. The little Mille Fleur banty is laying in the food dish. So far the only bantam to survive. I had one other Old English hatch but died a few hours later.

well i got 4 BR babys hatched and im waiting to see if the other 16 hatch out and i just candled my eggs that are going to hatch July 9 and 10 had 5 normal bad ones it had no embro in it and sadly something happened with one of the devolping chicks i opened up the bator and got a whif of something and come to find out one of the eggs is stuck so im being gently with it and finally get it unstuck and

the bottom part was covered in stinking slime so the chick must have broken something i dont know cause when i opened the incubator today it didnt stink so it must have just happened

FIRST BABY IS HERE!!!!!!!
From pip, to zip, to full hatch and hobbling around the bator, less than 45 mins! Can you believe it???

Ahh soo nervous for my ducks!!! Tomorrow is day 28 and they haven't moved or made a sound!

I reallllly hope they hatch!
