I didn't even know that my broodies got a hold of eggs, I thought they were just being stubborn and not giving up on an empty nest, and I noticed eggs and candled them. They are at least a week in!

I would be excited, but they are probably going to hatch when I'm gone for equestrian team tryouts, they are in the high nest box, and I don't have room for more chickens!

Luckily the nesting box can be taken out, so ill probably just pull in out and set it on the floor, and have dad check for chicks regularly over the weekend.

Just relax and let mama chicken worry about them.

It's been 24 days. Do I give up or let the hen sit a bit longer?
