I was looking at the Acer Netbook myself!

Does it work well? Connect to the internet easily?

I'm only nervous of getting it because my Acer laptop tends to disconnect randomly, not find networks, drop he CD/DVD drive at random times...and I would hate for that to happen with the Netbook!

Looks like an AWESOME view! Put on the bug spray though!!!

Isn't great when the weather is nice and you can just sit back and enjoy all the wonderful blessings around you. My favorite place is the yard swing . Sitting and swinging in the breeze watching the kids and chickens playing in the yard with a lemonaid in my hand. The small things are sometimes the greatest aren't they?

After the high 90s and kazillion percent humidity of last week, today's 81 and low humidity is almost chilly! It is absolutely gorgeous out there. I do love summer days like today. I may get inspired and go paint the fence.

So far, the little Acer is doing great. It has a webcam and wireless card built in and runs about 5-6 hours on the battery so far, though it seems to run a bit slower on just battery power. I download from my digital cam really easily with it. It has a 160 Gig hard drive which is way more than I need for what I do with it. This one has Windows XP rather than Vista, a real plus. I think Ellie got it off Amazon.com.
