Ahhhh Ive Rescued Some Battery Hens!*pics*

I noticed in the first pictures that the hens toes were curled up. Was that from the hens being in a small cage with no room to even stretch? Poor girls.

Good for you! No animal should be kept in a cage. I've worked in the meat industry for 40 years and it is not a pretty thing, but do to egg production thats the way it is. Happy to hear you rescued them.

Ruby and flora were good today flora was up the feild with the others a was going to take a pic of flora runing to me but my phone ran out of memory! there was a trail of feathers,and i tahught i would find ruby dead but then she came and she had loads of feathers gone, im going to check her for lice and if not i will investigate into others pecking her and if thats the case i will have to do something about it
