Air Cell/ Humidity

I'm on day 14 of my very first hatch in my brand new Brinsea Eco 20. I candled on day 8 and 14. The air cell has grown by 1/8 - 1/4 inch, some eggs more than others. It is not as big as pictured in Hatching 101 article.

My humidity has been in the 30%-45% range. It briefly pops up to 50% when I first refill the one well, and I don't refill until it gets down to 30% or so. I've caught it once or twice below 20%. So the average should be in the range of 35%. I have not salt tested the hygrometer, but two hygrometers agreed within 1%.

Do I need to drop humidity until day 18- or do you think my air cell will be ok? Since this is my first hatch, I don't want to tinker overly much- since I have no experience- but am really unsure whether to make a change at this point.

Thanks for your input!

Here are some examples

Overall they look decent to me for day 14. I use this chart. The hatching 101 page is the bomb, but for some reason this chart was easier for me to compare to:

I would say to continue using the humidity range you are using until day 18 Between 14 and 18 they should loose a good deal more.

This picture is more in line with what my eggs are doing. I will keep on keeping on, and see how it goes!
Thanks.

LOCK DOWN!

Some eggs have a really nice air cell at this point, and some haven't changed much at all. I started with 24 eggs, and tossed 14 clears at day 14. Of the remaining 10- all still had movement at day 14- minimal movement at day 18. I'm pretty excited about the progress!

My guess is that I have a fertility issue. I have a cochin roo trying to cover 15 hens. I forgot to crack open the clears to be sure. I'll post a couple pictures of the current air cells.

The last hatch I did I got eggs from my sister's flock. She has somewhere around 100 birds. Out of the almost 3 dozen, I think 13 were clears. I called her and told her at least one of her hens weren't getting the love she thought they were. lol
