Hi I have some of my Old English Game Bantam eggs in the incubator. The eggs are from my own birds. When I was candling them, I noticed one egg with the air cell on the side of the egg instead of the end. the chick seems to have developed along with the others and I can hear peeping coming from the eggs. They are due to hatch this weekend. Can the one with the air cell in the wrong place hatch? The eggs are on their sides and I tried to place the egg with the air cell up after the last candling. Let me know what you think. Thank you, Lisa

I have had this happen once and it hatched just fine, but took a little longer than the others. Just keep the humidity up and wait it out.

x2 however if you notice a pip and fluid running I would attemt to free the beak ONLY and try to save your chick...
