Does this seem okay? Is there anything extra I should do for the duckling?

From what I can tell it looks like that’s just membrane that stuck to the shell. I would offer that one a little yolk as soon as it’s ready to eat something just bc it struggled a little more.

Do you have chickens or laying ducks? Duck eggs are higher in protein if so

Whatever eggs you have will be fine!

If the ones hatched are dried off I would go ahead and remove them and put in the brooder.

Yeah. You want to remove them. The one time I tried to leave them in the incubator for 48 hours I wound up having two really strong eggs (candled really well so I was very familiar with them) die. Previous hatches where I removed within a few hours I didn't have any sudden deaths like that. So my conclusion is being jostled a bunch by those born earlier is not great.

Nowadays I give them maybe 6 hours max and then they got to a heated brooder to finish drying.

Same. I learned that lesson the hard way also!

My other breach buff duck hatched last night with a bloody bill and an unabsorbed yolk sack. Odds of survival? Anything I can do?
