I'm on Day 13 of incubation. On this egg, I see something on the air cell.

Does this look normal??? It wasnt there before.

Doesn't look good. If i had to guess, I'd think that you had some bacterial contamination. Be watching that one very closely. It may die and turn into a stinker or oozer. Give it a daily sniff or candling.

Yep... That's what my thoughts are. If you have other eggs make sure not to hesitate or keep it too long...you dont want to risk the others.

Oh, ok. I always wash my hands before handing the eggs. How else can bacterial contamination occur?? I hope it'll be alright, I've already lost 2 eggs one being infertile and another dying early.:hit

You can't blame yourself if the egg is contaminated.

Bacteria is in the air. Bacteria is on the eggs. It can enter through the pores. The incubator is a warm moist environment, perfect for bacterial growth. Eggs can get contaminated if the bator was not properly cleaned before setting the eggs.
