How can you tell if the air cell is detached?

When you candle the egg the air sac can be seen to float about like in a builders spirit level. We had a couple like it late last year from shipped eggs

Thanks, I candled before I put them in

but didnt know what I was looking at. I did it to humor myself. I am going to candle tonight day 7 .
