Alabama tornado affected members need free eggs or chicks? Pictures!

That is really soo sweet. I live about 30 miles from Hackleburg, and haven't been there yet. We had to go thru Phil Campbell a few weeks ago, and I cried just looking at the devestation. It truly is as far as the eye can see. I really don't know if they have anywhere to put chickens just yet. Some areas of the state are still trying to get their town to allow FEMA trailers to live in. If anyone had chicken tractors that they wanted to donate maybe...

This place just goes to prove there's still selfless people out there willing to go the extra mile (no pun intended) to help out where they can. MFB, it's awsome what you're doing.

Thanks, can never be said enough to Terry! This has really given me something to look forward to. We received our chicks and they are beautiful and healthy! I have the babies settled in the coop and they are making happy chicken sounds. What a wonderful man and family to give such a wonderful blessing to me and my family.
Thank you so much for the lovely chicks!!!

You are very welcome Amy.
It was nice meeting you this afternoon and I'm glad you got them all home and settled in! I hope they will all do well for you. Thanks also for your nice comments to Jon and letting him tell you about his chicks, this is the first time he has ever donated any of his very own chicks and it made him so proud to be a part of it.

Now you do know you gotta post some pictures soon don't ya?

oh yeah.. Rammy? Jon kept all the Turkens for breeders for next year, but you are first on the list for some beautiful naked necks come spring.

Thanks for the Great pictures!!! It was nice to meet you both. Jon has some really nice BB's. He's certainly a fine young man. You can tell how proud he is of his chicks. They are settled in and all seem happy and content. Eating like little pigs, and scratching in the straw. Plus, making those happy chicken sounds I enjoy. I've been out there checking on them. Daddy said he'll get you some guinea eggs, and as soon as he has another one laying I'll send them your way. Plus, You'll have to bring the whole family down sometime and fish in our pond/lake which is 2.5 acres size and 47ft. deep. We're only about twenty min. from our meeting spot. We have bass, bream, catfish, and crappie. There's some fairly big fish in there too! Lance has enough fishing gear for everyone, plus you can keep what you catch to eat. Right now it's really hot, but you would be welcome anytime. I'm just so pleased with all the babies.
Amy
