That is awesome! I thought about processing a roo a couple of months ago. Looked at multiple youtube videos, got all the stuff I needed to process him, and even set a date. Needless to say he is still around and kicking but at least I was able to rehome him. I know! I'm a wimp!!

This is my first time doing any of it since I was a kid. The first one I culled was for thanksgiving(massive turkey). I was a little emotional about it. However I knew I gave him a better life than commercial places. For some reason a few of my animals act domesticated. Perhaps that is my fault, I'll play with them etc. Thankfully he was the only one I raised for meat that showed these traits. The 7 broilers(roos) I have are feisty wild chickens. I won't have as much a trouble with them(emotionally).
