I'd never thought about giving my chickens a suet block before. Do you give them the wild bird suet or something different?

There are a few recipes online to make your own. I have a butter bowl full of marigold petals I was supposed to use for one. No idea why I haven't gotten around to it.

NW Alabama, I need to buy some Chicken wire to cross fence my pasture. I need about 150', either 3 or 4 feet tall. Where is the cheapest place to go get it? I found some on Amazon for $54 for 5'x150' Is there a better deal?

I got my order in already. Our feed store has chicks in. The owner's son is already asking if I have chicks for sale.

So I have 2 white leghorns, and 2 Barred Rocks both about 21 weeks. Today one of my white leghorns finally squat for me. Reached down to pet her, thinking she'd just run away as she usually does, but she froze in place and DOWN she went, wings apart and all.

so I scratched her back and off she went fluffing her feathers out happily. I hope this means eggs soon!
