ALABAMA!!

I got mine from Meyer, so I guess we'll see how she turns out.

Apparently I am not allowed to have a mixed flock involving the RIRs.

Ok. I guess I'm building another coop.

What I don't get is why dad wants to continue breeding hatchery RIRs instead of heritage. If the next roo turns out nuts, I'm putting my foot down. I can handle the hens. They don't try to kill me. I can't handle another Red. Next roo that tries rip my leg off can say hello to the grill. I will not tolerate being afraid of a roo and not being able to collect eggs.

The RIR's I got u are not hatchery stock.
 
I have broody #2!! I snuck a few more eggs under her tonight.

What breed is your broody?

My chickens are 100%
pure bred
mutts lol
my original chickens were said to be some sort of game, I don't really remember cause at the time it wasn't important to me. We mixed in some red 'flea market ' hens and my new roo is supposed to be a jersey giant.
