Wow!
It just finished raining a few minutes ago here and is now sunny- and hot.

Indeed, Alabama is picky! Tornadoes then 90+ degree days then all of the sudden bottoming in the 50s.

Pretty weather here but it is BLAZING hot though. I'm counting down the minutes until I can go home, smoke a bit of bud, and kick back with my chooks by the pool.

So, I have a young (5-6 weeks old) cockerel that appears to be an Olive Egger (Cream Legbar X Marans cross is the most popular guess) instead of the Favaucana he was supposed to be. Anybody here want him? Or, even better, anyone have a Salmon Faverolles or Speckled Sussex cockerel/roo they'd be willing to trade for him? I'm working on a breeding project, and I don't want crests or solid black birds in my flock, so he's got to go.

Aw snap! I just rehomed a Speckled Sussex cockerel a few weeks ago. And this last weekend my uncle culled his too. So sorry. Good luck and I hope you find what you’re looking for

Darn. Isn't that how it always goes? I'm sure I'll find one - my oldest pullets are only about 9 weeks old, so I'm in no rush. Thanks!
