Tom, They don't test for salmonella, only Pollorum Typhoid and Avian Influenza.

I'm not sure there is a recommended age, but I would think they should at least be grown birds, don't you think?

I called last week about the NPIP they said they have to be 3 months or older to test.

They only test for pullorum and AI.

I keep hoping to find someone close to me to get eggs from, but the only BYCer I know is close to me is HortonFarms and she hasn't been online since last year's Easter hatch.

I guess I'm not meant to sneak chicks over on my dad.

I wouldn't even get in trouble since we're selling most of the chicks. He wouldn't know till it was too late!
