ALABAMA!!

Jenifer, Welcome to BYC. I am from Byron, Ga just south of Macon. I have enjoyed fishing a Lake Marvin in the past. Good luck with your chickens.
Thank you very much. This is only my second year with chickens. My first was a complete disaster. I decided to scrap it last year and give it one more try this year. So far so good. I am an all in kind of girl so of course I have way too many chickens but I love it. ;)

I am trying to declutter the house some.. Is anyone interested in egg cartons? I have saved tons of them from store bought eggs. Got about 15 of the dozen styrofoam ones, 6-8 of the 18 egg styrofoam and a MASSIVE stack of 12 egg cardboard cartons for Aldi.

I doubt I will ever use more than a handful of them.

Would have to pick them up or meet somewhere nearby.

I have to be in Montevallo on Fri afternoon 630 or so. I could use them. thanks

You'll feel right at home 'round here....Welcome! :celebrate

Brie, what did you get? You could always get sex links, they are guaranteed pullets. We've hand raised our four & hope all are pullets. There's a lady in Baldwin County that's going to sell her lavender Orpingtons if you like them. I'm going to get two, they are already laying!

I searched forever for some lavender orps! I ended up getting a Millie fleur d'uccles and a barred rock I have no idea how old they are but I am in LOVE.

Found a person that has lavender orp in Bessemer, AL. If you are still interested. They are suppose to be from HC-jink line. I thought about getting some but they are APA standard and I really like the look of English better.
