How come my baby seems to get older twice as fast as my chicks? She's almost a month old! And those chicks sure don't seem like they're any older

I have some coturnix quail. Just hatch a batch.

I've got corturnix some 7 weeks 3 weeks and some bob white 9 days old my son and I kinda went a little crazy hatching eggs

I think they are cute!! They are so....small. How do you like the bob whites? I thought about getting some of those in the future.

They are a little more jumpy than coturnix but they seem to be just as easy to raise

Well I'm up to 12 lil ones with 3 moms, Not a great turn out but I have learned so much. thank you guys for all your help, the advice and all the messages have helped me more than you can know. I am forever grateful

I still have 2 more sitting . Can't wait to get done with this round lol Next time I will be better prepared,and hopefully not waste so many eggs. BTW I tried to candle an egg and I could not see a thing. So I convinced my boss to X-ray one(I am a vet-tech) I could not open it for fear of what I'd see in there.And after the x-ray I'm glad I didn't.
