ALABAMA!!

@Mister B
I heard a man say he would rather "dump"a dog than take it to the shelter, because at least on its own it would have a chance to suvive! It is sad to know that people are that ignorant.

I agree. A friend of mine lives in a secluded area on a dirt road. He gets drop offs nearly daily. He stopped a man one day and asked what he was doing. The guy said the same thing. My friend went to his truck and handed the guy his pistol. He told him to shoot the dog, it would be more humane. The guy told him he was crazy. My friend said, "You dont see the remains of those killed by coyotes, mountain lions and bears. I do. I live here. Either put it out of its misery or take it to a shelter." The guy picked up the dog and drove off. Im sure he probably went a few miles down the road and did the same thing. Domestic animals have little to no chance at survival out there.

Anybody need black australorp mixed chicks? 3 weeks old, I have no idea on sex. I'm selling them. Phil Campbell. Message me if interested.

I've only had one "drop off" since I moved up here. It makes no sense to me. By the time he made it to my chicken coop he was nearly starved to death but he didn't try to get a chicken he was eating scratch. I would've kept him but he way too afraid to be around my wild bunch. I found him a home. It wasn't that hard, it really wouldn't have been hard to find the guinea pig a home. ugggghhhh

My parents had a drop off last year on my mom's birthday. They left a box at the end of the driveway and curiosity got the better of her. There was a barely weened kitten inside. We still have her. She's the second drop off we've gotten that I can remember. The last one was my cat, Mouse. She had a really bad upper respiratory infection. She's lucky she ended up with us. We've also had bait dogs wander up and 9 times out of 10 they are the sweetest dogs I've met.

One of our cats went missing last Monday and reappear on Friday. Mia is always on time to come in the house at night. She likes to go into the woods across the road everyday via the drains pipes on either side of our yard. My SIL spotted her and she refused to move from where she was laying. She's covered in what looks like rat bites. All the bites are low on her body and all over her legs. not a single one on her neck and back. I'm really hoping it doesn't decide to come to our side of the road for revenge.

Someone dropped off a box of puppies last month on my driveway we took them to animal rescue foundation and they were all adopted out. Either take care of your pets or don't have them. Cruel just to drop them off

I cant understand any1 feeding an animal that just poops

lol I tell my dogs every day that they need to go get jobs, but the big one has a job he keeps the rabbits out of the garden, the squirrels out of the feed, and cats out of the yard. And the lil one just poops, but I love him just the same!

I have two little dogs. Both mixed breeds. They are good alert dogs, and they keep feral cats away from my chickens. Plus they are good foot warmers! I have a cockatiel that just poops and sings, but he makes me happy. The rabbits, chickens, ducks and goose are all food suppliers. Everyone has a job.
