ALABAMA!!

I found a feed mill in Ranburne Ala that will custom grind my feed for me. The only problem is a 500 lb min. My ration is a min of 1000lbs. For us thats ok and we will be placing a order for July. We have enough commercial feed to last till then and the price is a lot better than i thought. This may be thought if you can find someone closer to custom grind. If thats too much maybe someone you know could split the min with you. it would still be cheaper than shipped feed. Oh Ranburne is on the Al/Ga line down I-20 about 1 1/2 hrs from B'ham. Plus this mill will put it in 50 lbs bags and not just loose bulk. Another plus.

Have you tried your local farmers coop? Sometimes they can pick things up for you. I ordered some rye grass seed for my pasture through them. It was a type they did not normally sell.

Also, you may want to just make your own. You can get the different grains and just mix in in a large container.

Does any need a mobile chicken coop? I had someone build me one based on Catawba plans. It took him a while to build it. We had chickens we needed to move out of the house. Anyway, my husband built a coop. It actualy is not as nice as the one we had built, but since we all shared a little in the building, we like it better.

The one we are thinking about selling has several doors(more doors than in the plans), and also had some windows(also not in the plans but needed) put in for when it gets hot. It is a very nice coop. It will take two strong folks to move it. It is built to be mobile, but it is very heavy. It is 550.00.

I am looking for local growers of all kinds of birds for pet food. I need a source locally that offers whole birds. I have a source for grinds in Michigan. Looking to trade locally. Cynthia in Shorter Al 36075. I need varieties, even rabbits. Any help would be greatly apprecated.
