You would not believe where all the plan has been! The tadpole grew into Godzilla!

First, I was getting the banner. Then, I was setting up a booth for BYCers. Then I was staying all three days, open to close with BYC handouts. Then I was being a guest lecturer for the festival and speaking on basic chicken care. There was talk of hosting a bio-security station. I finally decided that I was going to have a good time and would look at some of that for next year, when I actually have a clue what's going on.

I would still like to get together with you guys, though........

Sounds good to me! I want to figure it out this year also. Maybe next year I will get a vendor booth and sell some of my quilts and crafts. I hope to bring chicks and eggs next year too if it looks like that would be feasible. Maybe even show a few chickens if I end up with any quality pretties! See I have a lot to scope out! Lets figure out when, where all us BYC'ers can meet-up though.

Have we all dated ourselves? My teenage daughter looked blankly at me when I asked her who Lucille Ball was. Ugh, so old........

That seems to be happening to me more and more.

The neatest thing, though -- I have an 8-year-old great niece whose favorite show is I Love Lucy. She loves to recite the whole show complete with facial expressions.

At the Chicken and Egg Festival, perhaps we should carry around signs saying "Are You a BYCer?"

I wish I could go. It's just too far for me to ask anyone here at home to take me. Maybe next year with a little luck.
