ALABAMA!!

Calling All South Alabamians!! I'm wondering if anyone close by makes their own feed and if so where do you get your ingrediants?! That is all...

Never fear, Stumpy, my friend. I am thinning out my flock and I will make sure you get a Marans hen. You can either pick a chick and raise it (of course, you would HAVE to get more than one, for company, you see. DH will not mind two, or three, as they will be so little

) or I will let you get one of my adult BCM hens. I am getting more and more excited over these Campines.

Oh, yeah! Decisions, decisions.....

Can't wait to see your first Campine chicks!

Alachickenman, I have some friends in mobile. I can check with them for you. We order what ww can get at the feed store from whole foods in bulk. Works pretty well. :)

Huntinwidow we have named our hen Bertha. We absolutely love her! Is she bq or pq? We love her and the peeps regardless they are doing great!
I am so glad you named her. She deserves a name. I would consider her to be BQ. The 2 Pq I have have visable flaws that would dissqualify them from show. But they are still great hens and are laying some beautiful blue eggs.

Well thank you so much! She is so loved and has taken over the coop! :) she has claimed the largest and highest nesting box, tho no eggs yet. :) she loves to Sun bathe and the silkies flock to her like she is their momma! Which she doesn't seem to mind. The chicks are in the brooder with the silkies and they are doing well! No names yet there ;) I'm sure you will see plenty of pictures!

If you mean you would like to have an Ameraucana hen I have one BQ/SQ available and 2 PQ available. I am in N. Jefferson Co. Stumpy got hers from me.
yes, I think I talked to u before. what's BQ/SQ & PQ?
