Hey Brie, Awww, new chickies...you might want to try putting a soft, furry, floppy stuffed animal in there with them so they can "snuggle" in to get warm and comfortable/secure or a small blanket... Also lower your warming light bulb for add'l warmth. Some folks have used feather dusters...Make sure thet are eating and drinking asap, may need to dip their beaks in water to practice over the next few days. Like children, food, water, warmth, safety....also keep a look out for pasty butt. Take care.

Glad to hear it went so smooth, Raz! He looks wonderful.

My step-son is expecting his little brother tomorrow per C-section.

And my brother is expecting his within the next few weeks.. His girlfriend actually went to the hospital today.. Had a bad headache and high blood pressure.. Hope she's ok. He's the one who is arranging my mom's final things.. so he REALLY can't use a baby just yet. One more week, little guy, let your daddy finish things up!

In other news. Roo is in my fridge. That was.. unique. Dispatching was harder than expected, cleaning was easier than expected.

Glad we did it, now we know to avoid more roos at all cost. We don't really want to do it again, unless absolutely needed.

I hope all the babies and mommies do well. I wouldnt want to do that anymore, too old!
Each roo is different. My cream legbar roo is so tame, he just started crowing last week and still sounds like a rusty door hinge. My Sulmtaler roo is super sweet also and still a baby at only 6 weeks old.

I will do that! Thank you Wisher! I appreciate your help!

I have read a bit on the subject. I think the government has to licence you to sell meet. But you can sell your eggs but they can't be in an egg carton with another company's name on it. And you can't call your eggs "grade a"
