AP, i'd give you some except that my hens are on strike and I am only getting a few eggs a day and I have no idea if they are fertile! I'm close (sorta') so maybe you could try a few?

Thank you all so much!
I'm interested in getting some fertilized eggs if anyone is near or around east central AL. I've got my bator stabilized and ready. I'm ready for the next learning step with my chickens. Though none of my girls are laying yet.

Looks like cocci....have they been outside? Start on Corid asap. Treat all/both chicks.... Corid powder. Dose 1/2 teaspoon in a gallon of water. Treat x 5 days. Corid liquid. Dose 2 teaspoons in a gallon of water. Treat x 5 days. If not resolved treat add'l 2 days on Corid. If resolved, follow up with Electrolytes (Sav a Chick powder and Probiotic powder mixed together in water) x 3 days. Monitor closely for dehydration, OK to continue feed, unmedicated chick starter, but I kept them on the medicated. Keep us posted. Chirp
Hey, if you will, go to page 564, post 5633, there is some discussion that might help. Also, there is a link to a good thread on Cocci with pictures, etc. I can't seem to get it posted to you. Hope this helps you and let us know how it's going. Chirp
Thank you all so much! This is the first I've seen of it in any of my flock, and I found it just minutes before I posted the picture. These two are so little I have them in the house still. To my knowledge they were not on the ground at the man's house that I purchased them. The little male in the back was in the house in a brooder and the bigger girl was outside in a raised pen. I will go to the feed store first thing in the morning and get them started on the Corrid. Is there any reason I need to treat my ranging flock? I'm very particular about washing my hands between handling and feeding my different batches.
