Me too! Make it 2x worth your trip!
I should ask you the same question Do you have any molted or splash cochin chicks and if you ever go down toward Shelby county?![]()
Maybe I can meet you half way somewhere when you have some. I'm not in a rush(although I have chickitis very badly right now!!!). Just want a couple of hens as pets and lawn ornaments(can't have roo where I live). Oh.. and teach them stupid tricks. Yes, stupid tricks. I had my orp coming when called, sit on command, jump to a target, jumping through hoops, and ring the bell for food(big mistake on that one!!!). My splash was better trained than some of my dogsI only have one hen laying about 2 or 3 a week right now with 2 more hens due to lay any day. I don't often go further south than Hoover. I am hatching every egg I get right now, so maybe in a couple weeks I'll have a few.

Yay! have fun keeping the kids out of them lol Mine want to hold them the minute they get home from school and are constantly picking them up to hold.. which isn't bad I guess since they will be used to them but my 2yo likes to let it run from her lap then snatch it up a little hard so I have to watch her like a hawk.
