Were are you located? I think there is a breeder in Warrior and one in Bessemer/Oatgroove. Both are members of BYC.

^ You're very welcome! Oh hey, in your searching for the silver campine, did you find any good golden campine breeders? I ended up with a baby boy that was supposed to be a baby girl, and I'm thinking about getting him a couple of ladies!

Funny you should say that. I happen to be making a road trip next weekend to a Campine breeder in Texas and she has beautiful birds. I'll ask if she has any GC pullets for sale.

I'm afraid I am going to have to dispose of my girl. I'm not going to be hasty about it. I am going to give it my best. None of the doctors at my clinic are "avian experts"but none believe it is bumblefoot. I have her isolated from the flock. The doctors feel she is too thin, so tonight, I went around feeling everyone's breast.(where else but in a chicken forum can you say that) but she is thinner than the rest. For now I'm still treating it as bumblefoot, and hoping that's it. She just gets her own suite and special diet.

Anyone in the Montgomery area interested in bag of Tucker Milling layer feed? My chickens really don't like it so I've decided to go back to my previous brand of feed, but I have a full 50 lb bag of unopened feed that I want to get rid of. Free to a good home if you'll come pick it up! I'm in Prattville, just north of Montgomery. Or I could have my husband take it with him to work (at Maxwell AFB) if someone wants to meet him near the gate to pick it up.
