I'd prefer Australorpes, or maybe Rhode Islands. Need a breed that is a good layer for most of the year.

I'm sorry to say that I have neither of those breeds. The only full blooded birds I have that I would consider parting with is some Black Orpingtons that I will take $20 each for.

Are they good layers? Do they lay in winter? How old are they?
