ALABAMA!!

Toasterburn's hens were raised by me and I sold them to him. I really wasn't going to get rid of them, but I love to help people get started in chickens and he had been having a hard time finding some laying hens. My plan for those girls was to pen them with the BCMs this spring and raise some F2 Olive eggers. I've never had any before, but I can raise some more if I really want to .....

Here's more info for those interested.....

I NEED some land where I can have roosters. I want to breed designer chickies so badly

(and I want to grow many fruit trees and have a goat and dig a pond and have a root cellar and.. and.. and..)

I'm so sorry about your loss, Raz!

Icandi, your babies are adorable! My two Easter Eggers that I got from Wisher are laying medium eggs, just started a month ago!

Kimberly, those ducklings are adorable too! FTD (fear the duck) as my Canadian chicken friend says (a few of you know her). They're as addictive as chickens I hear! I need more space before I go that route, plus I still need to make my chicken tractors!

Wisher, what great colors to be had! I need to get a couple of your olive egger girls myself! Thanks for the charts, very interesting.

Wisher i have a coop full of olive egger stock. U wont have anything to worry about this spring. I have 1 cuckoo and 1 wheaten Marans cockerels. Blue and splash isbars, crested cream legbar, and blue Marans pullets. I wouldnt have any of these if u wouldnt have helped me incubate.

I second that. Had the best hatching of quail after reading her incubation advice.
