ALABAMA!!

Yeah, found out the hard way. TSC had 3 chicks left last time I went.. should've gotten them. Today? Nada.

Asked for straw, the guy tries to sell me hay that you need to rehydrate :rolleyes: Guy... that's not straw. I want it for my ducks to nest in... I do not need $15 hydration hay lol

It is hard to find anyone that knows the differencw between Hay and straw. TSC for the most part employees there are city folks. Very few of them know about the products they sell. It is just another sku bar code to them. Our co-op or local fred store are our first choice for our needs. We do buy from TSC sparingly.

Orps those 4 pics I posted are the 1st generation so the eggs I'll be giving you will be the 2nd generation. I have a Black Silkie Roo with those 2 Dominicker/Silkie hens. I haven't hatched anything from them yet to see what the next gereration will look like. I have eggs from them under my broody Silkies and they should start hatching any day now.

Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/usr/maggyplanthome ships from Florida. I asked them to make a custom order for me. I got 1 female Ananasia and 1 female ken's red and a male polinator. Very well packaged and they're thriving.

I know you can buy them at Petals of the Past in Jemison too.

I'm just going to stick 2-3 chicks under my broody. I had donated some muscovy eggs to her, only to find out there were rotten (and all the other ones the muscovy were sitting on)
:he

Surgery go well? I hope so :)

Thank you will check with petals of the past- i want to put a Eldeberry in also. They might be the ones to go to.

I rarely go to TSC anymore.. but, it's like 5 minutes from my house, so it's sometimes easier that way

Hubby gets hay/straw from True Value in Helena for me most the time. I was hoping to find more marked down raspberries at TSC.. since I managed to save 2 out of 4 I bought last time (for $1 each, that's a good deal!)

@Wisher1000 the grandkids are laying

Regular egg is for size comparison, the other 3 are pullet eggies. No olive eggs yet.
