Tomtom- i have seen the tanks from Alabaster listed on CL some in Athens also. A friend from Hardcorehomesteading, is building fish tanks from them. Gonna raise Crawfish in the starters.

I have COPD and CHF and my fluid build up is getting out of control even on lasix.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know it must be hard to give up what you enjoy (not to mention hard to live with these issues). Although I have not had these particular ones, I have seen great healing from other major issues, through detoxing my environment, diet and lifestyle. Please try some natural healing, if you haven't. Drs (and drugs) don't always have the answers. I wish you well.

Hopefully you'll get some relief with cooler weather. I watched my mom-in-law suffer from the fluid build up on her heart and lungs and especially in the heat.

No they are still here. I want them to have a good home so badly.

Kim, My oldest two raised 40 turkey babies between them at just two weeks old they are very family orientated birds. I think a temp. divider so they could get aquainted would do the trick while letting them become one flock.
My birds are trained to hand signals so if there is any fussing, I put my hand up in a stop position and I tell them NO and they stop!
Here is a pic of Sugar when he first decided he wanted in with the babies. He had been in another brooder with some chicks.

Everyone thinks turkey's look pre-historic. lol they do!
