Any news on this avian influenza deal? I haven't really been online to keep up with it. Also, are they holding all poultry sales in the state or just specific areas/growers? Thank you to anyone who responds and helps me catch up here.

Only thing I have to offer is already posted (most recent cases found in Cullman) with the exception of being in TSC today and they are still selling chicks. I'm trying to swoop in on one of those 50 cent a chick deals that some people have gotten. Some have even posted they were given chicks for free. That's my kind of shopping!

The lady from dept. Of agraculture told me that i could sell eggs,chicks, and chickens out of my house.no selling from flea markets or auctions or anything from a group environment. I could sell out of my house.so selling is ok.

I got 6 BO chicks at tractor supply, and I think 4 or maybe even 5 of them are roosters. But only 3 weeks old. So only half feathered. :/ but if they're still looking in a few weeks mine will needing new homes :/
