I live in Pickens County, AL and looking to purchase either Buff Orpington and/or Cucukoo Maran Chickens. Does anyone have any or know of anyone in MS or AL thay may have either pullets, laying hens and rooster(s) for any of the breeds mentioned?

Reeltown, Alabama here!! used to have chickens many years ago but got out of it didnt have the time (being young and single)

but now since i'm older and not single

my fiance and her son talked me into getting some more just received a shipment of Mille Fleur bantams!!!

Sounds good. I don't have plans to be so ambitious. I'm making a chicken tractor to house 3-5 chickens at the most. I plan to have a wire mesh top on the run also. I've seen the hawks but we've also had coyotes and foxes in our backyard.
