I bought some Ameraucanas the other day and they are the ugliest , poorest chickens I have seen in a long time. I agreed to buy them over the phone. AFter I drove across country to get them, I wasn't about to leave empty handed. I won't agree to buy anymore chickens long distance without seeing pictures first.
One of them doesn't even look like Ameraucana. She is the right color but she doesn't have a beard or muffs or any Ameraucana feature.
Plum sick and disappointed over it. And I paid good money for them too.
I wish more Ameraucanas looked like my Easter Eggers. My Easter Eggers are the prettiest chickens of them all.

I just bought more Ameraucanas today but figure they are Easter Eggers too instead of Amera.....I am trying to gather up a nice flock of Easter Eggers. I just love those chickens. The ones I bought today are already laying===or were===now they may stop for awhile until they get use to their new home.
I also bought Light Brahmas, RIRs, Wyandottes, and a few others. total bought today was 18 chickens and roosters. to go along with the other 21 that i already have.
I think I better stop while I am ahead.............I have to organize and build more coops.
