Hi everyone!

I see some on this thread that are near me. I live in Pittsview. It is half way between Phenix City and Eufaula. I am a newbie to chicks. I ordered one day old chicks which arrived 11July. Lucy is a pretty EE. Laverne & Shirley were to be Dominques. Laverne was killed by a predator at about 6 weeks. I have since learned that Laverne & Shirley are BR. Love Shirley just the same. Like many of you, I am sure, chicken math got to me. I bought 3 more pretty little girls. Peaches is a light Brahma and the youngest. Then I have Queenie (Coronation Sussex) and Princess (Blue Cochin). Three of my 5 pullets are laying on a daily basis now. Should be anytime for the other 2.

I too wish I could find a "Chicken Sitter" for when we go on trips.
