On her back, Demeter looked around, frowning slightly at the clear sky. "There is a storm coming," she said to Arya. "I can feel it. It will be extremely windy and pouring rain in an hour."

(dawdling and offline are totally different :p :p :p) Windstorm leapt out of the water as Alexa leapt onto her back. Alexa removed the spells she had placed on Maria and Gwendolynne. Windstorm flew quickly, brushing her wing to Pheonix's as she went by. "fly as hard as you can for until the storm comes, then we can go underwater and swim with Shark. i think that may be more effective than flying in the high winds, if we swim deep enough underwater." Alexa thought privately to Windstorm. Shark, who was quietly falling in love with Saphira, followed behind them in the water.
 
(about an hour later)
the storm was aproaching quickly from the east and the wind was starting to pick up, saphira looked at the storm "arya you need to put a spell around us to protect us from any lighting and a spell to keep fresh air around us" saphira said.
"you're right saphira as always" arya said smiling and placing the spell over all of the dragons and riders present.
saphira looked back at the riders and their dragons following "everyone dive underwater, we will be swimming until the storm passes" saphira said, she didn't plan to go underwater until everyone else had gone underwater and was safe from the storm.
 
"she stole your idea!" Windstorm whined to Alexa "yes, well i was intending to suggest it anyway and she just beat me to it." Alexa soothed her as she scratched behind her ears. she placed a spell around Gwennie, Maria, herself and Windstorm to allow them to breathe underwater and keep them dry. Windstorm dived underwater, and kept going down until she hit the bottom. she swam very close to the bottom, where the sea was calm and the winds off of the storms didn't bother her. Shark swam nearby, providing protection from nidwhals.

(yeah that's why Windstorm went underwater, because she trusts Saphira and wants to make sure everyone who goes underwater after her is safe, and that's pretty much the only reason shark's tagging along, he's totally
