"and you stay away from mine!" Shark thought back, puffing out his chest. he then looked at Saphira and blushed, mumbling to himself, "oh why did i have to go and make a fool of myself?"

Windstorm smiled up at Pheonix from down near the bottom of the sea. she swam up to him, bursting from the waves and throwing shimmering droplets everywhere. Alexa's spell to make Windstorm glow had worked perfectly underwater, where the murky water dimmed it, but now in the air, one could not look at her without hurting their eyes. Gwendolynne scratched her ear. "i never really liked swimming." she thought to Maria. "at least we're not wet." Maria thought back to her. (they were in cat form and most cats don't like water)

Phoenix closed his inner eyelids so that the light coming from Windstorm would not blind him and flew closer to her, brushing their wings together. "You look like a star," he said. He turned his head to look at Shark and said to him, "I don't care if you like Saphira, but maybe you should find out if she likes you back."
