"being a rider means overcoming your fears, and facing them. Selena will overcome this and accept arya as her new master as you will aSaphira" eragon said firmly but calmly.

"selena come out please! eragon told me to come find you!" arya called out again.

Selena jumped from one tree to the next, but just before she landed, she saw that the branch she was about to land on was broken. She and the branch fell to the ground with a deceptively soft thud, driving the breath from her body. She gasped for air, then climbed to her feet and continued running, unaware that the back of her tunic had torn open and she was bleeding. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath, then continued running, her past melding with her present. Have to keep running, she told herself. If I stop she will catch me, then the wip. And the belt. Have to keep running...

arya saw her fall "selena! stop! you are hurt!" she called out then whistled for aSaphira.
aSaphira heard arya whistle and ran outside, dodging other riders and their dragons to get to selena, she skidded to a stop panting infront of selena "calm down selena" aSaphira said soothingly.
 
Selena skidded to a stop, backing away from aSaphira.
"Barzul!" Miriel exclaimed. She knew that Selena was having a flashback. In her mind, Selena was seeing the man, holding a club in one hand and a stick in the other. Miriel ran to Selena and curled herself around her, raising her wings so that Selena could not see aSaphira or Arya. "Selena. It's ok, it's not real. You're safe, Selena. No one is going to hurt you."

Greer heard the commotion and flew over to the small group. "Little elf. Why are you running?" The green dragon asked standing next to Miriel.


Aurora alos heard the commotion and left Luthien sleeping in their quarters. "Really now." She growled. "Terrifying the little girl. Saphira, Arya. If she's running don't chase. That would only make it worse." The rainbow colored dragon said.

arya snarled to herself as eragon walked outside, calm as ever "can't you see this is not going to work?!" she exclaimed pointing at miriel and selena "i cannot teach selena if she cannot even stand to look at me! she needs a new teacher because it cannot be me" arya said staring hardly at eragon. aSaphira backed up from miriel and selena.
eragon stood looking at arya, silently telling eSaphira to keep her peace, eSaphira outside looked as calm as eragon but inside she was ready to roar at them all.
 
Greer and Aurora looked over to see Eragon and Saphira. Aurora dipped her head and flew off. Greer huffed. "Why were they chasing the young elf?" Greer asked.

"they weren't supposed to be chasing her" eragon said looking at greer, avoiding looking at arya or aSaphira. "arya and aSaphira are their new instructors and they were supposed to be finding selena" eragon said gesturing at selena and miriel.
