Put in a wet sponge (or two) like Deb says and close the vent down tight till you get it where you want. Sorry Bonnie, I know it's tough for you right now. You really just need to get that up for hatch time. Do you have an extra sponge in there now?

Couldn't find a sponge, so I soaked a couple paper towels, nuked em and put them in, it's about 62% right now. I might have to do it again. I have the vent closed and covered with a washcloth...

Roll up some P towels and place them in a receptical made of tin foil (if you have it) to help hold the water in. I use a couple of these 5x2" if they fit and get them prtty wet to hold to the end if possible. Everything else looks good Bonnie....

I've got some foil. I'll get a couple more paper towels and get them in there.

Thank Deb, I really hope it makes it... but my excitement is more than a little dulled by having to call about cremation plans...

I'm making pickle relish...whoever said I could use my kitchen today must have lost his mind. It looks like a tornado went off.....not just once, but twice!
I guess anything to keep me out of his hair today, nothing has gone right with this addition (roof)...but its coming along.

Donna, babies are on your side of town now...Rachel will have to share her newest fur-ball when she gets the chance....I'll have photos of
my new brood sometime tonight. I WILL be sitting down and having a brewsky once the relish is done.
