I am so sorry for your loss.......

I just played catch up.....(reading)

I was working the Tanana Valley Fair as security....then was sick,
then I had my lonesome 47th birthday as hubby was at the mine, and all my kids had stuff of their own going on and most didn't find a moment to even call me.

Then I spent a day just wandering through the chickens trying to decide which ones will go into which winter coop......and how many of the roos I will be keeping.

At the moment it looks like I might have to build one-two more winter coop(s), as I am thinking about keeping all the different breeds seperate for the winter....... so when I decide to start incubating again (maybe in Jan), they would already be seperated.

I was also thinking about adding a hatching and brooding room to each winter coop for the different breeds.....that would require less work if I do it now while planning out the new coops than trying to add on later.

That sounds like a very thorough plan Pandora. Will you have some help for that?
I am trying through everything else to organize for winter now also, but I am a little behind. I have a coop to insulate when its finished but that will take care of everyone else. so I hope it works out!
Happy 47th late!!!! You should've said! We would have given you some love!

Sicknesses are going around probably because of weather depression, the Bear has a cold and boy I hope no one else gets it! It has been so grim outside. Haven't mowed in 2 weeks, but the grass loves it!

well the 17th was interesting......as birthdays go,
I was home alone, and still got Breakfast in Bed, my neighbor (ANN) made it and delivered 2 egg & Sausage english muffins and a Cup of Coffee at 9am.....It was so sweet and very surprising to me, never had a neighbor like her before!

she also fixed a Moose Steak Dinner and Brownies for me for my birthday......

any way she even has offered to watch the animals if I want to be away for a day or two!
