Eveil! The more the merrier here! And info and PICS always welcome!

WW.. I think I will reserve judgement on him. Those colors are pretty even. Don't know anything about how they feather early so he's still a possible to me. Those spangles were pretty splotchy from the start...

I thought you said "Insulting the coop". It has been too long of a day.

I sold 6 more cockerals today. Things are very quiet now and the girls are happy.

Elizabeth, how are your crew settling in?

Oh, they're doing fine! Except for the RIR I picked up from Cottonwood Creek Farms keeps picking on the Buff I got from you. Actually, she seems to be just plain mean to all of them...or she's picking feathers. Hmmm.
I didn't plan it this way, but we have a blond, a redhead, a brunette and a salt n pepper.
I'm in love! Gosh, how do I post pics?

Ehaus, Mike at Cottonwood Creek talked about how mean the RIRs could be. He should have had that talk with you, too! Maybe you could trade her out for a New Hampshire? I hear they do better with mixed flocks.

My Dellies are kind of like that. Definitely at the top of the pecking order, and the Dels lower in rank seem particularly bad about picking on the three Buff Brahmas and the Chantecler I have in there. I'm not sure I will even try to introduce my baby Orloffs into that situation, actually thinking about getting them established elsewhere and then bringing in the all the Buff birds so they can have a reprieve.

Both the dellies I got from you Tori are pretty mellow and get on with the rest of my birds pretty well. The Roo is a bit hard on the brahma bantams but ho one is short feathers yet so it's not too bad....

I wonder if you can teach a chicken to play nice, like you train a cat to stay off the counter. I don't have the time to sit out there with a spray bottle all day, though.

I suppose they'll learn to get along...
