If you have chickens with crests/tophats you don't want her. She is my featherpicker and I thought she'd stopped as my WCBP hadn't been picked for 2 days. Well he's naked on his head again. She's a friendly enough bird, and I don't see any other picking except on the two Polish roos.

Hi all!

I'm not sure if I said anyything to you all about Wolf Lake Wellness, it's an organic buying club, you place orders for produce, grains, dry /canned goods, herbs, essential oils, on their website....
Anyhow, today they had gamma seals. They're lids for 3.5-7 gallon buckets. They make your buckets critter free and moisture tight. I bought four for flour, oats, rice, sugar, etc. But they can be used for pet food too, camping gear, laundry soap...whatever.

On another note, from this same group, you gan get bulk oats, barley, wheat berries...and it's organic if you're into that.

Also, 50 lbs of DE is $38.61 and that includes shipping. Is that a decent price?

Ooh! I like those lids! I'll have to look into them.

I got my DE from Amazon, check around on there, lots of different sizes and prices. Plus, I only got 10lbs and it's a good size bag.

Well I will put 11 BCM eggs in the bator when I get up in the morning and i should have quail eggs going soon to. the quail eggs where ordered before the BCM so that they would hatch before the BCM but that did not work out. The BCM got here really fast and the quail eggs are being slow.

so in go the BCM and I will just have to watch the quail eggs like a hawk so that when they do come and hatch they are now where near my babe chicks well that is if I get baby chicks still working on getting something to hatch. maybe this time

I had 6 dozen eggs in one order...I have 4 chicks to show for it. I'm done ordering eggs, our post offices are horrible on eggs.
