Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain :

LOL! Carmen... sorry. I opened up a huge can of worms there.

Maybe we can all make it worth your while to play courier.

Aimee, they're old enough to be outside, but not laying yet. The girls I'm referring to came from my BCM pen, with a dark roo over a couple of good looking girls. Trouble is, the coppering in the babies is slight to non-existent, and I haven't raised any of the F1 chicks to maturity so I have no idea how dark their eggs will be. Mom's eggs are super dark for the first 6-10 months of laying, and have now lightened to about a 4 or 5. ALL of my breeders are molting now... looks like a huge pillow fight in a dormitory took place.

They're pretty little girls (I have boys, too, that can accompany the ladies) but lacking the copper. They'll probably only be good for dark eggs to sparkle up the egg basket.

So, having said that, I will do an inventory sometime this weekend to get an idea of how many we have available. Since they're not up to my breeding standards, I would let them go for my "normal" POL pullet price of $15 (+3% Sterling Tax).

I would all so be interested in some of the bcm girls if there is some left after Aimee got hers. They can go in with my mutts and lay me some cute eggs. The would fit right in with the mutts to cause the ones i have are black with very little coper showing in there necks though they are not bcms. I think that is one of the reasons I got my little guys in the first place I love the look of the black chicks there just so cute.

Tori, i guess you will probably have to come up with boxes for transporting the birds and arrange payment with everybody. I will let ya'll know for sure next week, but things look good.

OK guys... inventory tomorrow... been raining too bleeping hard, and now that there's a break I need to help hubby get the bunny barn finished before he takes off tomorrow.

Pray for some sunny breaks so the camera doesn't get wet!!

If Carmen's up to it, then we'll be ready!
