Like two? And possibly another invoice? Thank you!

ooh, or maybe one Peach faced White, and the AmerXBCM?? What does she look like?

I don't actually have any PFWAxBCM... I think there are two out there that look like BCMs in coloring, but have the Ameraucana features like puffy faces. I need to double check, though, and make sure that those aren't the boys I'm thinking of...

But I know I have PFW pullets. If you take two, then I will be out of them... Carmen's friend Tracy has one, and Rachel has asked for two (maybe)

I'll add the 2 PFWA's to your invoice and resend.

With that, Carmen is now up to a KNOWN 21 birds hitching a ride north. She's gonna need a trailer!! Good thing Tracy's going with her, and will have her own vehicle!

Ehaus, here's a photo of the other "Silk d'Uccle"... it's the one in the front. The one in the back is the older one from the previous photo. I put them side by side to see the size difference (the older one is bigger), but it really isn't obvious in these photos. I don't see any signs that it's a roo and it's about 8 weeks old. Let me know what you think, ok?

I'm really sorry about the mixup...

I actually took other photos today, but I had to delete them all because they were awful... I'll have to try again.

Well I had plans for tomarrow morning but I think they just went out the window lol. I have more running around to do tomarrow but I dont have to much. I wanted to pick up some feed and ground up oyster shell today but walmart wants 27 bucks for a 50lb bag and AFW wants 18 bucks, so of course I went in for that one to find out that it was still on the truck and it was ganna take 2 hours before they even got to it

So I have to go in tomarrow while I am running around and pick up a bag. Also though I found out today ( for the few mins I was home earlier lol) that My rooster is a loud boy lol. He kept going off and off, but thats ok I really like hearing them

Im glad he likes to clear his lungs often. I also Was given 3 40 gallon plastic Trash cans so I actually just got done cleaning them out and sanatizing them. I then put them out in the camper so when I go to feed them its all right there and they lock shut so no chickens getting into it. My plan is to have 1 with feed 1 with Oyster shell and 1 with Cracked corn. I may pick up another one for Grit too.

That brings me to another thing. Instead of BUYING grit can I go to a local sand pit and get sand and use it instead? There is a spot just up the road from where I live where there is a little 15x20 foot spot on the side of the hill where there is exposed sand (been that way for years) can I just get sand from there and use it as grit?

I was told that AFW is having a huge sale for PFDs this week? Did you see anything like that?

As for the grit, you sure can go pick up sand and tiny pebbles instead of buying it. I never buy it. And once you start getting eggs, you can smash up the shells and feed it back to them as calcium. Just don't let them have it in egg shape, or they'll eat their eggs before you have a chance to.

THey did have stuff on sale but I was in such a hurry I had a one track mind lol, get my stuff get out and on to the next destonation.

I was planning on using the egg shells too, but I was told you needed some oyster shell when they start laying to build up there calcium levels.....is that true? if not then Im not buying oyster shell LOL. I Also read some where (Cant remember where) that you should bake the egg shells to get rid of the egg taste....is that something you do? If not do you have any issues with them eating there own eggs? I dont want to be a tightwad but at the same time I want to try to save money where I can. If my wife knew how much I spent on feed today (2 50 lb bags of feed and 1 50lb bag of Cracked corn) I may be in trouble lol. SO shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol. They are starting to eat alot though, for a while 1 50 lb bag would last 2 weeks not its not lasting but maby a week and a half. Barely made it this time so I got 2 bags to make sure there is plenty there.
