They have the same troubles when I raised rats... all the different shades of 'grey' that they called blues. Wouldn't this just be much simpler if it were dark grey, grey, and light grey!!

Even though I'm glad for the break, I'm looking forward to Spring.

I think I'm going to concentrate on the Orpingtons and Dorkings.

Oh, and my chickens eat just about anything put in front of them... I boil meat/fish first, but it's still gone like a pack of wolves descended on it.

so Just a question, I went out picking crabapples yesterday and got soo much that I will be slaving in the kitchen for days. When I cut the tops off where the blossom was can I give that part to the chickens? normal I would not even think about it cause its such a tiny spot but with as many as I have it would fill up a bowl.
