When you shine a bright light on either of them, do you see any shininess at all? Or are the feathers just a flat matte? Shine = roo. With the splashes, you will start seeing long pointy (shiny) darker feathers starting to come in at the base of the tail. Still going to reserve judgement for another week or two, but I think you might have at least one pullet.

Anyhow Im a picture taking fool today....Must be the rain......and Im bored!

First are Maude and Gooey...I think Maude needs a new name though since I believe she is a he!

I think they are both roo's, Im pretty certain the one I adopted off CL awhile back is a female though..She was camera shy so I wasnt able to get her photo....

Yea I kinda figured the blue was a roo, but it'll be nice once the splash starts laying, I'll start incubating as soon as I can!

i'll have a closer look but the one on the left has all neck feathers in and they look shorter and rounded. The other one has feathers coming there, but pretty patchy. That is usually the one that is upright but....
From the looks of that my polish is a girl!!!
