But why NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT MOMMMMMMMMMMM???

Yeah, now they're on the floor by the front door, "feeding and watering" it. Trying to decide if it wants to live in the blue or pink cup.

Add to the list of things I never thought I would say...

"No, I'm not making the ant a grilled cheese sandwich."

Actually I worried more about the greenhouse than the tarps, I cut all but one tie on the tarps so now it is laying on the ground. I had to take the greenhouse down as the wind threw it over the Blazer into the Rooster Pen....... So I know a big "HONEY DO LIST " for my Hubby when he returns is not what he wants......But he will be getting it.
1) Finish Truck Transmisson (so I can escape to shopping)
2) Anchor the Greenhouse down
3) Finish new chicken Pen.......

I hate having to ask for help.....but my neighbor heard the noise from the greenhouse going over the Blazer and came out to help, I thanked him with a loaf of homemade bread and some eggs......lol

but now my greenhouse boxes are all a mess, and there is nothing to be done until the wind stops......as I don't dare fight it.
the Roosters I am happy to say were more scared than flighty.....they all come to me for tastey dandilion leaves, so that was not super difficult, I clipped one wing on each as I put them back. I am used to doing all the animals alone.....so that was easy for me.

I can leg band one handed and clip wings one handed.... I have learned to do alot alone!

He used to be, Now he is an Operating Engineer and a Gold Miner/prospector.....He is gone more than home.......
So I have lots of experience doing things alone.

Will be in about 6 days.. That work? If you ship it'll take 4 + a day to set....

Awesome! I have to mail a check or MO to him so that will take some time, plus then the mailing back. Coming from WA state so hopefully the PO won't smash them too badly.

PT I actually do a lot by myself too. With the store, one of us ALWAYS has to be there so the other does things... alone. Sam has BAD BAD knees so lots of walking is OUT for him, so I am glad that I am as healthy as I am - and things get done. Slowly...lol

Where does he head out for Gold Mining? Lots of them come thru here...

He Locates for other people all over the world.....(Phillipines, China, Africa).
Our property however, is here in Alaska. he is currently in Idaho, doing locating for a mining group.....

They have already stated they will want him back down there for (a few) other property. So there is no telling how long he will be home when he gets here.

But I can't really complain, as the bills will get paid.............I am used to this, when he works up north, he is gone anywhere from 4-16 weeks at a time, so this is not much different.....I just get to help with the scheduling of trips....

However it seems when things go terribly wrong he is never here to assist....lol
and sometimes not even in Phone contact for days....He isn't as bad as he used to be about not calling home, so I have to give him some credit.

PT Sounds like he has an interesting job tho! Hubby loves the gold mining stuff... he's never done much but recreational panning, but he's always talking about it. Unfortunately because of what we do here most of the gold mining season is gone. I probably COULD run this place myself and take care of the critters... but I don't want to find out what it would do to me if I tried.

They ARE purty!!!
