Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

Joe leaves on Wednesday. He won't be fishing with me. It's just going to be me, my mom, uncle, grandma, etc. We'll be in a boat, a zodiak! I'll be the one with a life vest strapped to each arm and leg! Probably one around my head as well!

Have fun you guys, and be safe!

Thanks gals... it's just always hard to lose one when they're already 2-3 months old.

If you knew how many birds I lose just from normal stuff like picking, squashing, etc... it's enough to make me want to quit sometimes. ESPECIALLY when it's a favorite.

I saw first hand how hard it is on you.

I don't know how you've made it this long.

Yeah, you did, huh?

Thanks... developing a thick skin around the heart is hard. It's a good thing there's always new babies to distract me.

I can't believe that! 5 of 9 standard lav ameraucanas also! I'm not touching that thing for another 8 days!

Congratulations all on your hatches!

Great Pictures....

Out of my last hatch
July 9th - 2 eggs/2 chicks
July 10 - 28 eggs/ 12 chicks hatched (only 10 survived the 105 temperature spike)

I will be unplugging the incubators and the hatcher for complete cleaning/disinfecting.
Then I will probably try the egg train/swap or purchase a few for the next incubation.

Pandora, are you talking to yourself again? I havent seen photos since page 77!!!

But then again, it's probably easier just to say it all at once just in case you missed something....this forum seems
to move pretty fast..
