I kinda sorta maybe saw it but I think that's just Endicott.

The KP index with still be high tonight so I'm going to try to find someplace on a hill will an unobstructed view to the north without light pollution and take a drive.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! Cold and breezy again.
I looked at the sky getting more firewood in, but then DH came down with the stomach flu and so that was that. He is still sleeping and no more episodes since last night. I have to take DAF to a doc appt today and I have a pkg of crackers sitting by DH's coffee cup. I will get a fire going and then we shall see how the day rolls out.

Oh..the highway ....that is sad, I am certain that it is on our news over here about that. I have not watch the news for a little while. We have much argument in our parliament about a amendment to the hate speech law over here...etc practically every news is bad news and I had written to my prefer news station to feature something positive after their daily horrible news. I got an automate reply...

This is the latest good news in one of our online newspapers:
The world's first 3D-printed hip implant was implanted in a human patient at the Anna Hospital in Geldrop on Friday. The technology is expected to replace major surgeries in patients with hip dysplasia in the future.

I have had two -- count 'em! -- TWO!! eggs so far this year, and nothing since January 4th. Molting is done. Please get with it, ladies! I feel like an imposter when I buy eggs at the store.

Mine stopped in the fall (moult) but the youngsters started again in December.
I managed to get around with the eggs in my fridge/cupboard. Since December I had a few eggs each week. But when we came back from our vacation (January 10) they stopped laying for the second time.
The chickens had a bad time with an unusual spell of snow and cold weather + they didn’t have free range time. It must have been a stressful period for the chickens. I have a few eggs left bc the neighbour (chickensitter) doesn’t eat eggs and stocked them for me.
Hopefully the youngest chickens start laying again soon.
